We were having problems with a smoke detector going off every time the oven in our house was used. We cleaned the oven, made sure that the oven vent was on when the oven was in use, and still the smoke alarm went off when using the oven. I contacted Bill Walsh and asked if he would inspect our smoke alarm. He was out to our house the next day. He cleaned the smoke detector, gave me instructions on how to clean it and said to call him if that did not alleviate the problem. The very next day I used the oven and the alarm went off. I called Bill again, he was out that night and replaced the smoke detector. Bill is very conscientious, he keeps the area where he is working clean and is respectful of those asking for his service. He does his best to help his clients as quickly as is possible.

My husband and I own an 85 year old house. Due to the limited space, we decided on a hanging lamp for the corner of our living room. With old wiring and the bare minimum of outlets in the room, we knew it would likely be difficult, but Bill did a fantastic job! He was extremely knowledgeable and flexible, able to work with and correct unexpected wiring issues that he encountered throughout the job. He was courteous, hardworking and finished the job beautifully in one afternoon. We will need to have all the electric in our house updated in the near future and Bill will be the one we call. We have an older home and were looking upgrade our electric. Bill was there immediately to assess what was needed. Considering it was a tall order, we expected Bill to be here for a few days at the very least. Nope, Bill was here for 1 day and he even fixed some things that were never done right in the first place by previous owners. He is extremely neat and detailed with the work he does. At the end ofthe day, after he left, the place was spotless, you couldn't even see a hint that he was here except for the updates. We were so happy with his work that we had him back to add an outside outlet and grounding for a pool and again, Bill was here for a day, helped with other things and after he left, it was like he was never here... and poof, there was our new outlet. Bill also came to meet the inspectors after the jobs were finished to help with any questions they might have. The inspectors were also very impressed with the cleanliness of the job as well as the detail his attention was focused
